Science Fiction Writers Workshop

Well, no time like the present to post a blog entry.
I haven't been doing a lot of physical writing. I have done an awful lot of plotting, which is actually BAD for me, because the way my mind works, once I've thought something through, I feel I've completed the task, let's move on to the next. I always knew I was more likely to write if I just sat down and did it, but you can only get by so much that way. In order to create more complex stories I need to plot. So I started forcing myself to and ended up not actually writing anything down! Arghh!!!
I got a promotion at work...upped my annual salary by almost ten grand, which with 4 kids is great, but I have a hell of a commute now, and a hell of a lot of responsibility too.
That's a combination which also has not helped my physical writing. So, over come with guilt, I resort to blogging:)
In a few days I'll get my old blog up an running, with the hope of rants inspiring me to write down some of these plots in my head.
